Hey tony, to my knowledge, you can only use them for freeview, the way others have talked about using a dish with a box is the blade box, connected to the internet, using card-sharing servers

your sky box will still receive all the channels but a message will come up on screen to contact sky to upgrade your subscription.no access to hard drive or recordings either.paid up sub needed to unlock;)
