connecting mag 322 to wifi

Got a mag 322 and want to use wifi connection ,Bought TP link usb adaptor ,does the wifi adaptor need config to mac or windows or not either ,any help apreciated .

Should just be able to go to system settings,network,wireless,auto(DHCP),click on your network name and it opens up a box where you enter your network password,enter and save.
