Coronavirus Tracker

What scientific proof validates that claim?
It's been stated a numerous times in the media. ie Can you get the coronavirus twice?

On Monday, both Sir Patrick Vallance, the government’s chief scientific adviser, and Prof Chris Whitty, Boris Johnson’s chief medical adviser, sought to reassure the public. Those who have had the virus once will develop some immunity, they said – and it is rare to get an infectious disease again.

There's no solid proof you can catch it a 2nd time or can't it's all speculation and it's a learning curve on another note a 5yr old has contracted covid 19

Virus could happen to anyone doesnt really matter of age.

Of course those with health conditions are more at risk I would put younger people in that bracket despite most of them believe they are untouchable.

Wait until people start dropping in the street, fit and healthy people get's what's called a cytokine storm. They are small proteins released by many different cells in the body, including those of the immune system where they coordinate the body’s response against infection, they end up turning on oneself.

It's basically like an intruder in your home, your fighting with him, your losing the battle so you grab a machine gun and start firing, as your firing and panicking you end up shooting your self.

Yep this kind of thing will get worse as some people think it's like the black death.
For most it doesn't have any symptoms or very mild symptoms
Up to a million uk citizens now have or have had it.

Our daughter in law works in mental health side of NHS. A professional woman brought her 5 year old son in to A&E this week. She had flipped and scrubbed his skin with petrol fearing he had the virus.

Unfortunately that could happen more and more during the crisis as people could lose it fearing the virus has spread to them or their family. Paranoia taking over can seriously affect someone's mental state

You don't beleive the experts and top scientists and medical experts in the country but choose to beleive stories in the media?

I believe my friend who lives in Wuhan more than I trust them two, not to mention there inconsistencies.

Yes very sad, there was an 18 year old died last week in the UK but these are extremely rare, and no one knows whether she had underlying health problems, she may have had something no one knows about
The chances of someone so young dying from it are extremely rare, in fact it's over 99.8% certain that younger people won't die from it, but 0.2% of them may:

The figures look frightening! Although the younger ones are not at high risk to die, they are the high risk people of spreading the virus through recklessness and dont care attitude! Imo of course!

Millennials have such attitude to life generally.

Don't give a s*it about anything or anyone apart from themselves.

Same applies in the current crisis.
