decent hdd for recording to?

anyone recommend a reliable/fast enough flash drive or hdd to record hd and sd channels from receiver?

i'm using a samsung 1tb hdd on my f5 and seems to be coping well

This might sound like a stupid question but how does recording work on the F5. Is it possible to set it to record future programmes etc and how does it record onto the HD?

yeah think im gonna get a 500gb seagate, its a 5400rpm hopefully its good to go
