Euro 2020 Predictions/Chat

On the BBC, it has been confirmed the coverage of the game will be hosted by Match of the Day presenter and former England marksman Gary Lineker. He is set to be flanked by former Three Lions icons Alan Shearer and Rio Ferdinand, with former European Championship winner Jurgen Klinsmann completing the line up for the BBC.

For ITV, the pundit panel is yet to be confirmed, but it will be Mark Pougatch hosting the show, whilst he expected to be flanked by England former England internationals Gary Neville and Ian Wright flanked by the outspoken former Sunderland manager Roy Keane.

BBC have confirmed that their co-commentary duo will be the regular voice of Guy Mowbray and alongside regular co-commentator and former England midfielder Jermaine Jenas.

For those hoping to listen to the subtle tones of Clive and Ally though, ITV are set to break their hearts with confirmation that they will be sticking with the duo that took us through England’s semi final win over Denmark, with the confirmation that Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon will be in the commentary seats for Sunday’s final.

I probably will favour ITVs coverage later.

Has the better pundits for sure.

I think it will go to extra time and believe we will see goals. But can see it being somewhat cagey and tactical to begin with.

I see 3-1 England.

Come on lads bring it home !!!!

Bit surprised with no saka or Sancho starting but trippier is.

Saying that it gives the extra man to help cover the defence where the situation arises and protecting the defence is very much important against this Italian team and so far Southgates decisions has paid off.

A cautious move from Southgate that. Would have preferred Saka or Sancho with their pace to test the Italy back line but in Southgate we must trust after his big calls so far.

Ye same mate.

But what we think is right is clearly not what is in his plans.

I figure he feels the Italian midfield will be playing more in our final third if we went with either saka or Sancho.

Whereas trippier can give a bit more stability than those two in that area.

He hasn't been wrong so far and let's hope that continues tonight.

Italy have been brilliant tbh.

England just have not been able to cope with their aggression and intensity.

Beautiful passing and movement from Italy throughout. Have really pushed England back who in turn have struggled to get out and forward.

Looks like extra time and hope some changes to the system. Bring grealish and rashford on.

England did not turn up for the second half :: Italy must be favourites in the shoot-out - that Italian goalie is huge!!
