Freezing

I would imagine that almost all servers are sharing the same cache and there could be some bad cache circulating. I use a build of OScam with cachex enabled and then use the cwcycle_check and block_fakecws feature. Don't know if it helps but can't hurt and I see no freezing at all on C4 HD or ITV HD

In the oscam.conf

Yes, you could be right about ABM, is there anyway I can change the setting?

Is it worth doing a manual scan of the channels rather than using ABM?

Unfortunately, I don't have a TV aerial or sky dish in this particular room so am dependent on the VM line.

make sure you have 'yes' to Virgin (UK)
make sure you have correct netid
Everything else is set to 'no' in this menu except 'create sections bouquets'
click green to save
then click green to scan

this is more than likely a line issue, it could be an issue with cache servers as they had an issue about a year ago with a lot of channels freezing/not clearing.

Saying that, I have had the odd freeze on BBC1 SD over the past couple of days which can't be line related

Yes, have tried numerous test lines over the last month or so and they all have freeze issues with Ch4 HD and ITV HD.

All other channels are generally fine.

Are they cache lines or lines with local cards, servers with local cards will generally cost a good bit more than a cache server.

This didn't come up with a channel 4 SD.

I can see 2 channel 4 audio description channels. One of which runs like channel 4 HD

channel 4 hd clearing fine for me in netid 0008

Hi on net ID 0153, during the day never have a problem with ANY channel, from about 19.00 hrs on a night, real problem with freezing HISTORY HD, NAT GEO HD, etc then generally lots of channels, have tried all the usual remedies, just gonna stick with it to see what happens

Depending region and if channel swap yes/no in providers virgin uk channel 4 (sd) should be on 104 or 141

Tried this also but no luck. Channel 4 is not there.

The Unknown provider has 5 channel 4's in the list but none work.

Not sure what this Unknown provider exactly is.

No idea what your setup is, it sounds like you are using something antiquated.

after that go back to blank screen.

No it isn't. I am using open atv 6.2 , grogbuild which was installed last weekend.

I don't have numbers against channels.. Just a listing with channel names.

Where do I find a numbered channel list?

Ok the last scanned folder has numbered channel listing.

104 is BBC One London
141 is Box Upfront

Something isn't correct. Press TV button then choose all channels or entertainment which ever is your first bouquet they should have numbers.
