Smarters Pro - you'll have to sideload it but in my opinion it works extremely well, it's nice and modern and fresh :) it just works! Most our users are on Smarters we never get any problems with the app :) solid choice imo !

No you have to sideload it (adding apps not in the app store). It's really quite easy to do it though, I wouldn't worry :) I can talk you through it when you're ready! You'll then be able to put any app onto the Firestick you want!

My VPN is aparrently listed in the app store already. ( from what i've read on their website )

Sideloading seems fairly straightforward anyway

I would also recommend trying stb-emu app. It's a great app,it emulates a mag box
You have to pay a one off fee don't you ? and you give the mac to the provider then they activate it ? I tried it before on my smart TV and it wasn't bad.

Anway i will first be trying smarters, how does the EPG work with this then ? I know via zgemma you generally have to upload an EPG.xml file.
Does the app do it for you ?

It's free to download on Firestick.
Think you mean smart stb app on smart TV,not stb-emu. Yes you have to buy the smart stb app on smart TVs

Simply use the app fireDL to add third party / non store apps easily.

Install the FireDL app which is available as standard on the firestick
Enable third party apps in the settings of the stick -
Use the fireDL code for the app you want

FireDL will download the app and ask you to install it. Job done.

Smarters app: 063557

Google FireDL codes or ask the app maker.

Bear in mind that this will limit your iptv sub to that MAC address only. By using a streaming sub type you can use it multiple devices without having to edit MAC codes in STB-emu on the other devices.

For example, unless you are running an E2 box which has the plugin Stalker portal available you won't be able to add your IPTV to your E2 box. Using Smarters on the firestick will also let you add the iptv sub to the E2 box.

Just something to think about before going for STB-Emu

Didn't we have this conversation last night about the firestick @NazoDoop when I awoke this morning the thread returned a 404 invalid status.
Smarters works sweet as a nut on a firestick. You can also use downloader (providing amazon haven't removed it yet) and this url http://goo.gl/ec3CpP

Yes, there is an option on the main screen - Install EPG - press that and it does it for you. Smarters is lovely.
