if url is https: change port to 433Just tried Jedi again with the same results. Note that I can see on the User info screen that the status is Active and it also gives me the date my sub expires.
Thanks Kurdt but I don't get a M3U file, I get a URL.Try putting your M3U file in the etc/enigma2/jedi folder. Restart the box and you can do it that way instead.
Thanks but it's httpif url is https: change port to 433
It did look like this. I tried changing my providers port number to 80 and vice versa and still nothing.in ect\enigma2\xstreamity folder playlists.txt file your details should look like this
Code:http://domain.xyx:80/get.php?username=user&password=pass&type=m3u_plus&output=ts
did you also try port:8080 and don't see the need to use older version you should not need to use m3u but if you want to try useThanks to everybody for trying to help. I have gone through all of the options, other than trying an older version of Jedi Maker. I think that my box is ready for a fresh image flash, so I might install that on aonther image on the multiboot.
http://domain.xyx:80/get.php?username=user&password=pass&type=m3u
That's OK. Just alter the affix, beyond the password, at the end of your URL so it reads "&output=ts&type=M3U" without the inverted commas and your M3U file will download. Or ask your supplier to provide it. There's no reason why they wouldn't.Thanks Kurdt but I don't get a M3U file, I get a URL.
Just downloaded it, thankyou. It works fine in VLC.That's OK. Just alter the affix, beyond the password, at the end of your URL so it reads "&output=ts&type=M3U" without the inverted commas and your M3U file will download. Or ask your supplier to provide it. There's no reason why they wouldn't.
You'll find having your M3U useful as you'll be able to watch your line on other devices, such as your phone (as long as you only watch it on one device at a time per sub).
The format of your M3U file URL should look something like this:
http://servername.net:80/get.php?username=ABCDEFGHIJ&password=KLMNOPQRST&output=ts&type=m3u
8080 didn't work (went red) but 80 and my providers port number made the playlist go green.did you also try port:8080 and don't see the need to use older version you should not need to use m3u but if you want to try use
paste your line into web browser search bar at top. Give it a minite and it should give you m3u to downloadCode:http://domain.xyx:80/get.php?username=user&password=pass&type=m3u
Do you mean for me to put the m3u file directly into the Jedi folder, or do I have to convert it into a .txt file?Did you check details in the m3u file
If you have the m3u textDo you mean for me to put the m3u file directly into the Jedi folder, or do I have to convert it into a .txt file?
Iv'e never used m3u with jedimaker but from what I have read in the document you copy it as name.m3u and it loads it in you do not paste contents into playlists.txt fileIf you have the m3u text
Copy and paste it into the playlists.txt file which is in etc/enigma2/jediplaylists folder
Then using the remote, create bouquets as normal
