TECHKINGS RESIDENT
Get your boxes UPDATED both 750 / 780

Menu Installation S/W UPDATE and leave the box alone till it is finished and the box reboots by ITSELF be patient as it will take a bit of time ;)

be better telling them to update box let it reboot, factory reset and auto scan from direct feed with lan removed, when channels are loaded insert lan and reboot box and router and modem to get an ip addy.
any time a box is updated /flashed you have to reset and rescan.

Practically All Channels Back :D

Did the s/w update and were back in action, seems just about all good...just 1 or 2 missing i think.

kv i would imagine as the net update was opened and done off their place, also note things are not finished yet so more adjustments and loss of channels may happen

I had a few problems when i tried to update my SW, my box was stuck on "searching new update". Nothing else happened.

Anyway Ive resolved the problem by removing the router and connecting the kryptview directly to the modem. Reset both the modem and kryptview and the download took place within minutes.

Just thought id share the info with you guys incase someone has similair issues and spends days looking for the answer(like i did)

Hope it helps:)

No, still same channels but if you don't do the update
some threads are saying box won't work in about a week.

Box seems to find channels quicker and some are saying less gliching.

More channels will probably be added as things settle down.

hi kaiser u go to menu and installations go down to s/w and up date there then factory reset and then scan again no spliters and that is it

Look at the cable feed coming into your house, alot of people
have one feed in. It is then split "using a splitter"one feed in,two feeds out.
One goes to your box another to your modem/router.

If your signal quality is less than say about 70% then
plug the in feed in (by-pass the splitter)direct to the box during the re scan.

Most of the time it isn't a problem, but if you have a low signal it should work.

thanx bees, had a feeling maza was on about that. i do have a splitter, i usually get about 72-88% sig strentgh.

sorry dodgyd shud of explaind a bit better but all i do is turn the modem off then rescan and after the box has rebooted i turn the modem back on saves un doing the spliter

Alright guys I think i need some assistance.I have done the following,
(1)turned off modem and had the cable coaxil feed to the house straight into the KV box.
(2)I tried a rescan, allowed it to complete its cycle then plugged all cables back in and restored the coaxil priginal set-up.
(3)Nothing appeared on the screen so I did a factory reset, then a s/w update and still the message "scrambled video or no signal" appeared.
(4)After doing all the above I even tried a rescan after it downloaded a software upgrade and I kept all cables plugged in.
Am I doing something wrong?
