No signal

Had my h2s running perfect for 2 years now yesterday I turned it on to find all free view channels now say no signal

I'm running openvix 6.1.0 never had any issues

Tried rebooting etc any help please

Yes free to air channels show just cannot get a signal to watch them

Do you only have FTA channels? if so maybe a loose connection from your coax cable?

I've tried to boxes both show the same on free to air channels

The channels are gray so cannot click them I've tried the wires

Could my dish be broke

Yes I think the box needs flashing, or you can try updating the autobouquetmaker to a newer version.

I asume you are running openatv6.1 and not openvix as you stated earlier?

My screen shows openvix it's been that long since I had to do anything to this box it's a struggle to remember things

Oh I assumed the latest Vix was only V 5.3

I have ABM 3.1 for openatv, not sure if it would work on Vix though

They'd both work that same as they always did if you flash a newer build, it's the software thats outdated causing this, nothing to do with the boxes or the dish

Why would they just randomly stop working for free view channels though if it's not the dish

Because the plugin that finds and arranges the channels (ABM) needs updating
If you go to autobouquetmaker and click 'update provider files' it may work but it will probably confirm via an onscreen error message that it's too far outdated

He cant use openvix as that box was never supported, upgrade image to ATV or a build in resources.Have you checked boxes have an internet connection and line is not expired.
No signal usually means a cable issue but as other channels work.
If channels have moved and no signal comes up its not getting any info.
On sat you can check info on moved channels to see if your on correct info

That's what I thought, and 6.1 points towards openatv, not vix
