OPENVIX MGCAMD 1.45 SOFTCAM FEEDS

Hi there mate am On oscam myself but the channels are gone off few weeks now the line I brought off heS saying I need mgcam To work back the channels are you sure oscam is activated and live??
oscam works fine if he has fixed his server with the oscam fixes. if he hasn't fixed it your end for oscam then you will never get it to work.

I'm happily using oscam without issues.

Looking at Moshibeth post #121 above, should I be now asking for a refund as I’m still dark?
you could, your provider may not be forthcoming though but if it's a member on here and is doesn't fix then pm a mod and they may try and find out what is going on, no one should still be dark

hiya,,,ive managed to get it on my up stairs box.but cant get it to work on my downstairs one,,its a h9 combo zgemma but its installing the 145c,but it will not start,,cheers

Hi all,

I have a vu duo2 with both a sat and cable line. I installed mgcamd1.45c via the openvix feeds (box is currently on latest openvix). I was on mgcamd 1.38 before the cable "black out". Both sat and cable channels are clearing. The issue I am having is that when I record a satellite channel which is encrypted (e.g. ITV 2HD) and I then watch a channel on cable the recording starts to freeze. This also happens the other way round, watching an encrypted satellite channel and recording a cable channel, the satellite channel starts to freeze. If I record a cable channel and watch another cable channel I have no issues, same as if I record an encrypted satellite channel and watch another encrypted satellite channel I have no issues. Is anyone experiencing the same issues?

My mgcamd config file (which hasnt changed since mgcamd 1.38) is here:

Have you tried oscam? mgcamd tried the first line and if cant get a response then tries the 2nd, oscam connects to both servers and uses the one that responds fastest for the particular channel, it may well solve the issue.

I have not used oscam think Ill have to give that a shot. Do I just download the latest oscam from the openvix feeds right? Ill get the config off my supplier. Thanks Grog

Oscam stopped working for me, so installed this mgcamd, but it does not show the server info or ecm info on the main screen (press ok twice) anything missing or need changing in cfg?

Scrap that, showing now

Could someone please confirm to me which IPK I need to install . I installed enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd-1.45c_OpenVIX-Newcamd_mips32el.ipk this looks to have installed as it's showing as an installed plugin. But I can't select this in the soft cam panel manager. thanks

If it shows up in softcam manager, press start. but make sure you disable mgcamd 1.38. Also after installing the ipk via vix, you will be prompted to restart the gui. After restart you should see mgcamd 1.45c.
