Plastic cover

Lads I've noticed there's a thin layer of plastic covering my zgemma box. Is it there for purposes such as dust catcher. Or should it be removed incase of over heating

normally sellers say they warranty void if removed I took mine off think it would over heat and melt it too

I think most of us take it off - all except the bit with the "warranty void if removed" sticker on it.
