Scrambling on the kryptview boxes

maybe update your box, could be your on wrong NET ID, could be your cable, could be you only pay for BB and your signal has been reduced, try them and see what happens

Well updated box its all uptodate im on right id im on basic package cable seems ok can u get a plug to stop this ?

where did you get your NET ID from ?? are you on direct connection to the box from router or using home plugs, splitters will also cause that problem, or in correctly wired cables also

Ye on direct connection to the box from router i got a 2 way splitter 1 for router and 1 for kryptview box ?

after the box was updated did you factory reset/rescan and chosen correct net id,coaxial cable inserted from main feed to scan and lan removed insert lan after channels are loaded and if needed power off box modem and router for 30 secs then on.
ah guess the id time again.

so you did not get your NET ID from your subbed box, so you are not probably on the correct one at all for your area, and yes net cable has to be in the box all the tome same as cable feed.

Get the correct NET ID from your vermin box that is the only place you can get correct one from 100%

not needed for scanning the cat5 can be removed, its the coaxial cable cable from the skirting board before splitters to gain the strongest signal.
for box to work you need both cables in to view.

Also, for a quick check, have you got a full channel list ?

If there are missing channels this also points to wrong net id

I used to get ss2 and ss4 missing when scanning liverpool (my area)
ended up scanning from manchester to get all the channels cleared,

It's not always the nearest on the list.

You can do a bit of trial and error, just do a default to factory
setting to delete all previous channels before each scan.

Vermin box will give the correct one though if you hook that
back up.

Think you have to hook your vermin box back up and look in the installation menu
system info or something like that. It shouldn't be hard to find.

Someone can probably give you the exact answer if you wait a bit.

Box T seems to have a tight banjo string at the mo with all the
starview crap goin on lol

Think he is on a twelve o clock count down :fear:

sound will save me rigging
the vermin box bak up lol

you will have to rig it up to get the NET ID from it otherwise you wont have the right one and you will be on moaning about missing and scrambled channels

If your just going to try a few different areas don't forget
to delete the old channel list with default factory settings
or it just goes round in a loop saying network already exists (y)

bees there is no point doing that all the areas have been changed so guessing is not going to work, the only 100% way to get the correct one is from his subbed box. ;)
