Streaming to Kodi from box with IPTV channels

Hi,
I have the Zgemma H2S box, and I want to stream the channels to a Kodi box upstairs with the VU+/enigma2 addon. The box has IPTV channels on it, with a paid subscription. It isn't receiving channels from the satellite receiver. The problem is, the addon scans all the channels and adds them in, with the EPG data too. But every time I click on a channel, it refuses to open. The log says:

I have also tried to open the m3u file directly from Openwebif in VLC, but that doesn't work either.
I understand I could use the m3u file directly, but the box uses Xtream Editor, and its a long process to get the direct link. And then, putting the link directly into Kodi takes almost 30 minutes to fully load all the channels, but using the VU+/enigma2 addon is almost instantaneous. Also, I'm hoping for centralised recordings. That would be amazing.

Is there any way that the addon can work with streaming IPTV channels?

Thanks,
Hamza
