Stuttering channels

hi, I’ve been having a problem with my channels stuttering for quite a while now and it is getting to point where it is unwatchable. I’ve recently updated the image an restated the line as my image was out of date but this didn’t fix it. So I’m posting on here to get some advice for what might be causing it any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Is it freezing, stop-start or is it pixellating?
Check the power levels in the router.
On the bottom of router is a settings password.
Open a browser and type 192.168.0.1 and click enter.
Use password to login and find downstream data, snr and dbmv, copy and paste it here

click Advanced settings on the left, then tools>network status
this opens a new page, click Downstream tab at the top and it'll show all the data in a list
copy and paste it here

I can hardly make it out as the pic is 18ft by 12ft on my fone, which is why i asked you to copy/paste the data.
It looks like the.snr is low on a few chsnnels, should be around 38 - 40 and anything below 34.5 is no good.
You need to contact vm

Sorry about the image pablo

I was going to ask why new cables and splitter might not improve his signal but as signal is been checked at router which shows an under powered level
I am presuming they have some sort of package with vm and not just a live cable as in going into router that it is also vm.

Pablo I can’t exactly get VM involved to sort out my “100% legit” virgin tv out ;-) can I? Just to clarify the cable comes straight in my house to the splitter (isn’t the cheapest one) then to the router and the edision box without excessive extensions prob around 1.5 metres from wall to box. I’m on the SH2 still and the cable line was only installed in March 2018 outside ground cable also.

With no splitter in place run the incoming cable straight to the modem and check incoming power levels.
If the power levels are no better a powered hdu probably wont make any difference because its too low to start with etc.
Do you just have broadband or do you have a tivo - v6 box aswell ?
