Upgrading oscam version to ncam/icam query

yes,its just the config file that you deleted all the info out of on your box,replace yours with this one

It hasn't got a VLC icon, you must have associated .rar files with vlc player

i think the quickest way is to go to your plugins menu,delete ncam,then delete all the files in the config folder,restart the box then install ncam again.

I dont use Vlc but 20 years ago i might have but the downloaded file shows VLC icon is why it threw me

If you double click on it on your PC, which programme tries to open it?

Yes that's because at some point you have set it as default for opening that file type.
Try opening any other .rar or zip file and it will be the same.

To change it back, right click on the .rar file and choose open with..
Then choose the correct programme eg WinZip or such likes and then tick the box that says 'always use this programme to open this file type'

right click and select open with then select correct program you have installed for opening rar files and remember to tick box to select always use this app to open .rar files.

For some reason compressed files would not open and no sign of WinRAR extraction and downloaded WinZip and now both show up 😂.

Just because it worked before as might be laptop having issues ?

use putty and login to your box and run this command

wget -q -O - i.tv-lounge.eu/install_v3.txt | bash

wait a minute and a option menu will appear

choose option 3

wait again and choose option 1

once installed it will take you back to the option menu

choose option 3 again

then choose option 2

once thats installed and your back at the option screen

choose 0 to exit

then write reboot and press enter

If you look at the ncam configuration it works with the best three readers With oscam it is different
