Hi, I'm a noob, but I've installed open vpn, and it's running fine, except that it blocks the actual iptv service. When I don't run it iptv resumes any ideas why?

Some providers choose to block known VPN ranges. I would guess there is an issue of sub sharing from other regions.

Some dont allow VPN you'll need to ask if they can unblock it

Ok thanks, so how do I go about avoiding this? I'm using PIA website for my VPN.

No some iptv providers don't allow vpn best checking with them

Another possible reason for your problem, is some virgin superhubs are known to be incompatible with vpn, unless switched to modem mode (so only ethernet not wifi unless you tag on a separate router for wifi), or depending on the specific vpn protocol employed configured differently to enable pass through. Try googling.
