Extract zip to the prepared USB stick and flash the box. If you want to rename the noforce to force you can do, but for the sake of pressing a button on the front of the box when it says USB/UPDT I would leave the files as they are.

Opened directory in Dream-Explorer, opened hdd folder which showed a folder named movie and another folder called movies. So somehow I have two movie type files .
The " movies" has the files I recorded from the xstream service.
Any of this make sense to you
Any suggestions on how to rectify this would be greatfully received
 
Hi wooshman tried all what you said all I get in display panel is boot and then goes up to 00 and repeats nothing saying usb even when using front button depressed used 3 usb sticks one brand new Kingston bought on Friday thanks mial
 
It can only be a flashing from USB issue and can be sorted I am sure, I just don't know what to suggest next for you to flash from USB. It is one of those problems only you can sort your end.

Another option to try though....
Open webif in your browser - you should be able connect to webif even when the box is rebooting, it may take a few goes at f5 to bring it up though. Once you finally get into webif, open the terminal window, type root to login and press enter and then type the Infinity opkg install command and press enter. This will hopefully stop your box from restarting. And we can go from there.

If you can't open webif while it keeps rebooting, you will need to use putty on your computer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/08h27736y4cmyj8/putty.exe?dl=1
Open putty, type the box name in the hostname box and press enter.
Login as root and then type the Infinity command.

See how that goes.
 
Hi all I’m a sixty eight year old newbi and would like to know how to update to infinity I thought I had done it but all I can see is open atv 6.1 and not sure if I’m doing it right I tried to download at top of page but it takes me to a page for Google please can someone help thanks. P.s.has f1 gone now.

thanks stupid I know did not write down ip address cant get into box menu to find it don't know if this helps but on tv got wooshbuild infinity on screen so something must have flashed to box as I said before it was working till I switched box off and then on again thanks mial

Are you using filezilla or anything like Dcc or have you typed your ip address into your browser recently as it might still show up when you type the first few digits, i know mines does that, when you do get it again, write it down and memorise it.

Open the command prompt on your computer and type: ping zgemmah2h
This will show you your box IP. It working will depend on the boot stage of the box when you do it though so you may have to try a few times.
 
Hi does the series link single selection work on this build, ie when the small red but is pressed then series link ? thanks
 
For cable and satellite it will yes, IPTV I have no idea, no reason why not if it has an EPG but as most of them are oly 24 hour EPG it may struggle.

Series link is part of the firmware image, openATV, openViX, openPLI and so on, it isn't image specific.

If you have a smartphone download fing from playstore (it's free) that will give you the ip address

If you want them in the same folder open xtream app goto settings then record location and edit it and remove the 's' off 'movies',but the recorded files will still play through the file list option.
 
hi, I’ve a zgemma h7s and I’ve got openatv6.2 and wooshbuild infinity running on it. The skin I’m using is skywb, but I can only pause and not ff or rewind vod, skyQ skin is the same.
If I switch skin to sky new, default or metrixhd these will all work by holding the right button. This enables me to ff/rewind/pause.
As I really like skywb I don’t really want to switch to another. Could it be a setting that I need to change to enable ff/rewind or is itjust a case that this skin can’t do that.
 
hey there i have flashed this on a zgemma h2h is there something im missing when adding my nline i have added it in the normal place usr-keys and restarte the mg cam but nothing am i doing something wrong, thanks in advance
