I know the usb has to be max 32gb to flash but can it not be any size you like Once its initialised?

For a fiver you can get a kingston g4 16gb usb3 stick off amazoon

I would recommend a desktop hard disk (ie with a mains plug) as there was a warning sticker on the back of my box saying about not drawing too much current from the port. Have heard others use the portable drives without problems though so up to you. Toshiba drives are fine but this seems expensive for the price. I paid £55 for a 2Tb Toshiba USB 3 desktop drive (from the same seller but in the sale). Have a look on hotukdeals last week viking had some good deals there.
