It's not quite the same but very similar, yes. Just to be clear I didn't say I thought it should happen but that it's an interesting point of discussion. Not everyone that won't have the vaccine will have the same reasons. Some for example, some still think the whole thing is a hoax and that it's not even a thing that they can catch (because it's not even a thing....) some people think there's not enough certainty about the long term safety of the vaccine. At the end of the day it all boils down to risk factor and trust and that's where people's opinions inevitably differ but I believe any risk factor needs to be weighed up against the alternative solution, which there doesn't appear to be one at the moment.
As I said earlier, it's a personal choice for everyone and people will have different reasons for either taking it or not doing so. I don't think anyone should be pressured into having it, although people's jobs will somewhat be a factor to differing degrees. What I really hope is that everyone has the same accurate information available to them, so that they can make an informed decision. The chances are that you and I will look at the same information an interpret it (or more importantly the risk factor) differently and that's fine. What's really harmful is some of the misinformation being spread around social media, blatant lies to suit an agenda.

interesting point indeed,, that should also be applied to the drug companies, make them liable for the lives they have destroyed over the years,, that works both ways.

All of them have side effects, one that can be bought over the counter without a prescription can cause internal bleeding, kidney failure, worsen asthma by narrowing airways and cause high blood pressure (Ibuprofen)
Millions take it daily with no problems but maybe we shouldn't be thinking about the millions of daily users getting pain relief and concentrate on the one in 10 million who had a bad side effect, and put a stop to this and all other medicines. That'll stop the "big pharma" cashing in.
While we're at it, I think Tesco are just cashing in on human hunger, I don't know who they think they are, they know people have to eat to survive and yet they charge people for food

drug companies have had a hugely positive effect on human wellbeing. it's not close either. without big pharma life would be harder, more painful and shorter.
simply the profit they make is evidence of this.
ordinarily, they are very much liable for mistakes, that liability has been suspended to encourage companies to be bold in getting the vaccines to the public, but this is a very unique situation.

3 the development of transmissible vaccinations - Transmissible Viral Vaccines
they are simply going to engineer vaccines that are transmittable person to person and will spread virally amongst a population.
if one could buy stock in the number of websearches the terms "bill gates" + "microchip" + "5g vaccine" will generate over the coming months we could get rich boys

To go back to the original question on the first post, "Will you be having the coronavirus vaccine when your time comes to be offered it?" I'd say from the people who've responded the overwhelming majority will be accepting the offer to be vaccinated. Demographically, this is probably not a reflection on overall society though... I'd guess the people who've responded are mainly aged 35-70 year old males. The objections to the vaccination possibly lie more within the 18-30 age group and hippies.

Is their any undercurrent with these vaccines? What if they are administered to millions of people then a new virus appears that cannot be cured for those who have already had the vaccine?
I'm giving it a miss personally until much more proof can be produced that it actually has works and is safe. we are talking lives here!

The new type of vaccines can be tweaked in the lab over 24/48 hours and production of 'new' vaccines within a week.
The same vaccine can be tweaked to protect against many different viruses not just coronavirus

i mean in that situation you are goosed anyway as there is no way you'd take any vaccine for the second virus if that was the experience of the first

I will be having vaccine when time comes not for my sake but for my family's sake to me will just be like going for flu jab but as you put it all, these cowards will go for yearly booster to go abroad ect but won't have a vaccine to potentially help reduce the risk/spread of a Killer virus.

I would have the vaccine anyway, but when a lady comes into my shop between Xmas and New Year to order a headstone for her healthy 63 year old husband and her 37 year old daughter who both died from Covid it makes you stand up and pay attention.
Is it really too much to ask to try and help everyone by having an injection?
I have dealt with people who have lost loved ones even kids for the last 15 years, but having to spend an hour with this lady under these circumstances is something that will stay with me for a long time and I could do with not repeating.

Yes, I feel it is, if the vaccine being offered puts your own life at risk. I'm also mindful that there are 388 people under age of 60 with no underlying health conditions who have died of Covid-19 recorded in England. And, I also note that the total covid deaths being spoutedand reported by main stream are total lies (50,000+) and that even those official government figures are reliant on a unreliable (PCR) test and are subject to many documented inaccurate false count methods.

Sounds like you swallowed all the misinformation spread on social media hook line and sinker, sad but there are a few of you around. Just hope none of you will want foreign holidays in the future, its a fair bet that most countries will insist on proof of vaccination as a condition of entry to protect their own citizens.
