Horse Racing

What’s everyone thoughts on this.

The UK Gambling Commission are proposing new regulations whereby bookmakers would have to conduct stringent affordability checks on all customers. While the aim is to protect vulnerable customers, the new measures could mean demanding proof of income & credit checks.
If that comes in there will be hardly any ounters.
What should happen is the government should ban all betting sites adverts on tv and radio and especially at half time of live football games along with shirt sponsorship.
Where there is gambling and thus money there will always be skullduggery, remember greed is the downfall of man.
National Lottery should be for the nation and therefore 50p a ticket, no silly roll over nonsense, share the winnings for those who paid to play the draw.

Betfair Exchange are doing bet £20 on the Exchange every Saturday get £10 added to your pot for Cheltenham started last week so next 4 Saturdays bet £20 and you will get £40 bets at start of the festival.
So thats £40 you will lose on the opening day then as yet another apparently "unfancied" outsider romps in at 66/1 but the stable staff were all on lol
Horse Racing as bent as a banana, run by coffin dodgers and the source of laundered money galore.

If the Picture of Gordon Elliott going about is real his training career is in trouble Irish are investigation this picture hope it’s a fake not nice photo and person who took the photo will be in trouble to if true.

won’t put it up in here but is on social media but he is sitting on a dead horse posing with two fingers in air his type of pose this is on his own gallops people have confirmed this is his gallops but shall wait and see if real or fake if real is career will be over but if fake the person doing this is sick.

It'll be some animal rights loony trying to either extort money or portray the sport in a bad light.
As England RFU manager said recently;
Social media is the modern day equivalent of the public toilet walls graffiti.
And has about the same amount of truth.

Could be but could also be someone with something against Elliott. Shall find out soon what the Irish board for horse racing says hope this is fake horrible to see.

If it was real he would already be under arrest and it would be plastered all over the main news outlets.
Police forensics can spot a photoshopped fake in about 10 seconds flat.
No doubt they have already seen it and dismissed it as a crock.

Was put up just earlier and Irish started investigation quite quickly so hopefully find out what they say rather get dealt with quickly not good look for racing.

That picture was true after all this is awful for racing and this will damage his horse training. Heard from quite a few people this morning was true and statement would be put out later at night.

Yeah read that one also surely if you want to take a call stand away from a dead horse don’t sit on the poor horse common sense.

Got a feeling that this person might have been let go by Elliott and having this photo would use it against him.

Also who the person who took it because the caption they used is awful and makes you wonder what else goes on their and what his yard staff know.

Horses die all the time in horse racing.
If he wasn't saying '2 secs' with his gesture what else could it be?
It's gonna set him back a few million quid whichever way you look at it.

Definitely more likely than what the article is saying. The gesture he is making in that picture is not a "hold on a sec" gesture

The whole thing stinks and this is from jockeys and trainers over here also no doubt get slap on wrists but small trainer would get shut down but shall see because he a big yard what they do.

Heard few things today and also from someone who had a horse with him and took the horse out his yard and rescued the horse.
As the horse was in really poor state and was just left in a field because wasn’t good enough.
