Cable tuner as fta

i was looking into buying a zgemma with 1 sat tuner and 1 cable tuner.Been told a few times that it possible to use some cable tuners with a fta aerial by changing software settings.
I was wondering because i wanted to get irish channels on box that arnt available through sat tuner.My main question was has anyone done this and does it put channels into bouquets are does it just tune a long messed up list?

Does your tuner have a switchable tuner to change from dvb/c to dvb/t/t2 as needed for saorview.
Not many channels with saorview in Ireland.

I haven’t purchased the box yet.Was just thinking it would have been handy for live r*e1 and 2 and the like u don’t get on sat tuner and save my laziness of switching back to fta on tv lol
