Sky box working but skybox f5s not?

Hi

Recieved my box today

When I plug in the satellite cable and do a scan, I don't get any channels?

If i plug it back into my normal sky box I get the channels fine.. so nothing wrong with my dish?

Any ideas

did your box come with a gift installed or have you got one separate? and have you put the details in correctly? have you checked your box is connected to the internet?

No mate iv just bought the bpx atm and just testing it for fta channels sonot internet cavle inserted! I installed aj channel list

No channels on a scan? You ticked the right sat? And network scan? Also in the right part?
Also I have seen u have to turn on lnb power to get signal

No channels on a scan and it took ages! Yeah ticked sky uk satellite and iv not done anything network related as im only testing fta channels atm. Yeah lnb is on

Have you flashed it with the latest firmware first, then have you put on the current channel list?

why should flashing make a difference scanning for channels,aint i lucky i dont have one lol.?

f5s box keeps saying offline line

hi I just bought a new f5s box as my other one broke but cant seem to get it to go online . there is internet going to the box and I have a gift for it can anyone help . also am not sure which satilite to scan as there is so many and they are all different from my old box .

Did your box come with a channel list installed. If so, is it working on the FTA channels?

If you still want to scan & you want UK channels, & your dish is pointing in the right direction, then you want 28.2e.
