Along with the steps provided by @pabloescaban I recommend trying to change VPN server location through surfshark if possible. Potential bottleneck in the VPN infrastructure somewhere.

Get 200 Meg on ground floor we're router is based. And furthest location about 120 meg, so loose 50 to 80meg there.... Paul
have you tried setting up nameservers in network settings i,e google or cloudflare i have virgin 250mb and my speed can vary betweet 40 to 68 mb on enigma2 on a gigablue with gigabit ethernet

on openatv 7.xx menu / setup / system / network / device settings / nameserver settings
or if openatv6.4 you need to add in network adapter settings you need to stop vpn while changing name servers
