I’ve enteref my details and it now allows me to change countries and I can see the IP address changes using IP checker.

The issue I now have is that it only seems to connect for a few seconds and then freezes.
When I try and do a Speedtest it says error retrieving details (or something similar).

I’ve checked every country and it freezes on every one. I have 300mb broadband with the box showing a speed of approx 80mb

Are you using vm hub 3?

Try changing Google DNS. Turn off vpn

In network menu run network wizard turn dhpc to no and set

Nameserver 1: 8.8.8.8
Nameserver 2: 8.8.4.4

You may be asked to confirm just re enter Nameservers.

Yes Virgin Hub 3

I’ve deleted the plugin as it was causing big problems with my internet connection and my box kept crashing.

It did it for a couple of hours and only a reboot of the box and the router (3 times) seems to have sorted it.

Maybe my box (zgemma h2h) can’t handle the vpn plugin. It is a few years old now.

This seems to have done the trick pal

Speed test without vpn was 81mb

Tested with 3 different countries and got :-

UK - 6mb
Ireland 10mb
Netherlands 7mb

All 3 countries played every channel I tried with no buffering whatsoever.

@Cairnsy99 what port and setting (udp/tcp) did you get 10mb on, i have tested all the euro countries on most ports and cant get any better than 6.5mb, therefore get a lot of buffering on fhd chans.

For the script with Windscribe someone sent me the ovpn files (I can't remember who lol) as Windscribe don't have then in one zifile I think it uses udp

Hi mate.
Tested a couple this morning and got between 8 and 9.5 mb

Edit - not sure what port. I adjusted the settings as advised by dsayers regards my virgin hub3 router

Cheers @Cairnsy99, i have tried all options and even put the hub3 in modem mode but the best i can get is 9.5mb via openvpn (windscribe) i have looked into this and apparently its an issue with openvpn (slow speed) as with the desktop app i get over 100mb on a 200mb connection. I also bought a router and flashed it with tomato firmware and still the speed on vpn is 6.5/9.5mb at best.

I’ve run a speed test on every country (far too much free time) and get similar speeds to yourself.
I’ve also done tests on my iPhone with VPN on and noticed the 2.4g was sluggish although it did eventually rise to 65mb ish.
The 5g connection was showing over 130mb with VPN on.
All my IPTV channels work fine on anything over 6mb connection and I only really use it for 3pm kick offs and the odd foreign footy game.
I run it alongside my virmin sub on a couple of old zgemma H2h boxes

I also have windscribe and cannot get it to work on zgemma h2h grog build openatv 6.2. When i select a country in vpn changer the vpn starts but the ip address does not change. I have the correct credentials set from windscribe as shown by

Make sure you have changed the dns... As posted earlier.

Try changing Google DNS. Turn off vpn

In network menu run network wizard turn dhpc to no and set

Nameserver 1: 8.8.8.8
Nameserver 2: 8.8.4.4

You may be asked to confirm just re enter Nameservers.

Thanks that worked. I was changing the dns servers in adapter settings and even though i pressed save it didn't stick. So changed it in nameserver settings and it saved.

Could you Add MonsterVPN?

Sorry for the late reply. Ive had a go at adding MonsterVPN to the script can you test this script please

Copy and past this script in notepad and change uuuu for your username and pppp for your password

Code:
USERNAME='uuuu'
PASSWORD='pppp'
###############################################################
# Standard Config
# If you change anything below this line, it probably wont
# be able to connect to your VPN.
################################################################
wget -O Monster.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/davesayers2014/OpenVPN/master/MonsterVPN/Monster.sh && sed -i "s/uuuu/$USERNAME/g" Monster.sh && sed -i "s/pppp/$PASSWORD/g" Monster.sh && chmod +x Monster.sh && ./Monster.sh

Once changed copy and paste in putty

I haven't got a subscription but it looks like it should work, if it does ill add to script generator.
