Just did a clear of channels and rescanned and down to 867 channels found instead of usual 960 i think it was?
 
You cannot clear the SD Channels any longer simply because you cannot now connect to the Server at all.

2 Choices. Its crashed ( unlikely because its been like this now for 24hrs ) or theyve done a runner.

Make your own minds up lol.
 
IPTV can be nearly as good as sat in my opinion. It depends on your TV. ( In regard to picture quality )
My old TV from 2016 was quite choppy and not smooth.
On my new TV I set the de judder to max and it's smooth as anything now. Also depends on the box you use. My Formuler Z8 pro is miles better than the zgemma i55
 
Why do people keep insisting on bringing this thread back to IPTV ?

Its not about IPTV.

IPTV is crap in comparrison to Sat and this thread is about the ability or lack of it now, in obtaining Sky UK HD from Sat using E2 lines from these dodgy Servers.

Anyway as stated above, no one can connect at all to these Servers now, so theyve probably done a runner as expected ,so now IPTV is all thats left I guess lol.
 
It does look like they have scarpered, so its bad luck for those of us that took out a sub, and for anyone else, then its a perfect example to steer clear if someone appears in the near future selling lines for 28e HD.

You better be right Fez1, or it'll be a weeks ban from the forum, heh, heh, seriously though, it would be good to see the channels come back on, but I am not holding my breath on that one.

Your eyes have gotten used to the higher refresh rates. Quite a few people find watching the old CRT TVs difficult now due to eye sensitivity.
 
IPTV is watchable but sat feed will always be Superior for the following reasons

1) Live- no 1 -2 minute lag in matches
2) Smooth framerate. No jerkiness
3) EPG - EPG is more easily fetched and accurate then IPTV one
4) Recording is way better. With sat the you get a tuner per recording. With IPTV if you are recording and watching the same channels that is considered as 2 connections.
 
Well just reading this thread has made my mind up. Basically sat is probably not ready at the moment it is just very hit and miss by the sound of things. Best keep my money in my pocket.

Most of these are mainly down to a supplier problem than a iptv problem.
1. On my current provider during games it's around 15 seconds behind live
2. Again smooth framework is all down to the correct supplier.
3. There are some Plugins such as jedi that use rytecs epg for UK channels, exact same method as sly
4.i agree its easier, but alot of iptv servers offer catchup too so you don't need to record.
And lastly on sly you don't get access to all the vod, 3pm kick offs, ppvs and other channels from around the world.
Personally I would love for sly to become alot more stable as it would be better to have both, rather than have more overall better service
